Opalescent moulded glass plate by René Lalique, circa 1931. Decorated with a spiral of sardines, the design is called ‘Poissons’ No.1.
 
This was one of Rene Lalique’s most successful Art Deco designs, signed with an acid etched signature R.LALIQUE France. Diameter 9 1/2 inch, Stock NO388.
