Royal Dux is renowned for introducing one of the most distinctive marks ever seen on porcelain items. This mark consists of a raised triangle made from pink clay.
During the first period of production, which spanned from 1860 until World War I, an impressed letter “E” can be found at the center of this pink triangle.
This letter “E” stands for Eichler, the surname of the founder of the Royal Dux factory in Bohemia and it is the mark that you will find on this particular piece.
