History
Ernst Wahliss, born in 1836 in Saxony, was a distinguished figure in the world of porcelain and ceramics. With an eye for quality and an entrepreneurial spirit, he opened his first successful retail store in Vienna in 1863. His dedication to excellence propelled his business to new heights, prompting expansion into London, where his products gained international acclaim.
Recognizing the importance of manufacturing, Wahliss later acquired the renowned Alfred Stellmacher factory in Turn-Teplitz Bohemia (situated in today’s Czech Republic).
He transformed it into Ernst Wahliss Kunst, Porzellan, further cementing his legacy as a visionary in ceramic artistry. His influence continues to be celebrated by collectors and enthusiasts around the world.
