A large French art nouveau patinated bronze bust by Maurice Bouval, signed M Bouval, circa 1863–1916.  The sculpture is titled “JEAUNE FILLE AU LIERRE” meaning “girl in ivy.” Maurice Bouval was a French art nouveau sculptor and a pupil of Alexander Falguirre. He participated in the 1890 Exposition Universelle in Paris and was a member of the Societe des Artistes Francais. This bronze is in original condition, the size is 43cm, NO235.
